The extension of the Flex Express service responds to transport requirements from industries located in the Bordeaux and Bassens region. Europorte has announced two weekly train pairs for this new connection.
Flex Express provides connections between industrial zones and national as well as international rail networks. The service is designed to offer an alternative for single wagon movements with fixed schedules.
The Miramas–Bassens route will join Europorte’s existing Flex Express network, which already links other French industrial regions. The addition will allow railway freight customers around Bordeaux to access this network.
According to the operator, the service concept remains focused on the same operational model as other Flex Express routes.
