Thanks to the unique combination of GPS units and Bluetooth® sensors, rail companies can monitor not only the location but especially the condition of the wagons, the level of loading and the wear and tear of components such as bearings and brakes, which are key safety factors, in real time.

Monitor all your data conveniently and in one place
The data is transferred to the Positrex app, where the position of the vehicles and their status, routes travelled, maintenance records, notifications of possible faults and outputs in the form of various statistics are clearly displayed. All this can be analysed and used to optimise operations. Positrex helps more than 100 railway companies in this way.
A modular system tailored to the customer
Each railway operator or freight car owner has specific requirements for monitoring various parameters. That's why Smart Wagon® allows a fully modular configuration - the customer can choose exactly the sensors they need. From vibration detection, flat wheel, bearing or brake wear, wagon load status to temperature and humidity in the cargo area. Customization - adapting to the customer's requirements - is a major focus.

The intensive development of this solution has been underway since 2021. Today, six sensor types have already been completed, with five more in development and scheduled for completion by 2026.
