The modernization of the Loconi Intermodal Terminal in Radomsko has been completed after 18 months of work by general contractor ATLAS WARD POLSKA.
With the completion of this project, the terminal is now one of 18 land terminals in Poland covering more than one hectare, capable of managing continental cargo. The upgraded facility also ranks as one of 12 terminals with regular rail connections to Polish seaports, making it a critical hub for intermodal transport in the region.
Located within a 100-kilometer radius with no similar facilities nearby, this terminal offers logistical advantages for both local and national transport networks.
The modernization allows for new transport routes to be established, offering external partners additional connectivity options. As intermodal terminals continue to play a role in the shift from road to rail, the Radomsko terminal is expected to contribute to the development of green transport corridors.
Its integration of rail, road, and maritime connections enhances the efficiency of supply chains across Poland, benefiting both regional and national logistics efforts.
